NY: 2006 VY Corvette Z06 (2LZ) with 20,400miles
Hello gents, I am considering to sell my 2006 VY Z06 with 20400 miles. Here is brief history on the car and what modifications it currently has...
I purchased the car back in October of 09 with 9800 miles from the original owner and at that time the car had long tube headers, intake and a tune.
Right after I bought the car, I had all the liquids changed including the rear differential fluid.
Shortly after I had the Borla axle back installed and was very happy with the car. There is a bit of a drone at highway speeds.
Soon enough I found myself at Vette doctors doing their sick stick package and the cars baseline numbers were around 470RWHP and 440RWTQ and with the cam install the power was upto 541RWHP and 514RWTQ. This was one the best things I had done to the car.
With the stock tires, the power was a waste and I decided to go with 18inch wheels all around and contacted House of wheels to purchase the OEM Z06 size wheels in 18 (black all around) and installed MT 345/35/18s and the car had all the traction I needed. Since this one of the four cars I have, I didnt mind running drag radials at all times. As the car only came out if the weather was nice.
6 months passes by and I ended up getting the heads done at Vette Docs again and now the car's power level was upto 592RWHP and 554RWTQ. The car was and is a beast as it sits at this power level for the past one year.
Performance modifications on the car:
- BORLA EXHAUST (SPORT)
- VARARAM INTAKE
- FAST 102mm INTAKE MANIFOLD
- 60lb injectors
- LG LONG TUBE HEADERS
- Heads & Cam package from Vette Docs
Exterior modifications:
- ZR1 style rear spoiler (Full length)
- ZR1 style side skirts
- APSIS front splash guards
- House of wheels OEM Z06 sized wheels in 18s all around (Black)
- Comes with a full car cover (with Corvette logos)
Interior modifications:
- Lloyd mats with jake symbols (yellow symbols)
- Knee rests
OEM Equipment:
This is a 2LZ Z06 that came equipped with factory Navigation, memory seats, Heads up display and heated seats. This car has all of the options GM offered back in 06. The roof recall was done as well in 2010.
I will post some nice pics shortly. Please feel free to PM me if you have any further questions and additional pictures. I have a ton of pictures. I will provide the VIN number to anyone that is seriously considering the car.
Asking price on this car at this point is 48K. Please no low ballers. In order to replicate all of these modifications in a pristine clean Z06 will cost you in the vicinity of 80k.
All of the above modifications are documented and I have dyno sheets and receipts for everything.

Absolutely...When its the right car, you feel lucky that it is within driving distance. I went there from down here near Solomon's Island. Not a bad ride at all. Just watch out for those work or safe no speed zones, next thing you know your getting mail !

Gents.. I can put the car cosmetically stock and take a few dollars off the initially stated price but I am not going to 40k on this car!!
40k gets you cars with some sort of a bad history or over 60k miles. If you want a nice clean Z06 which makes 600whp please expect to pay in the mid 40s

i was just outbid on ebay at 48,000 for a 2008, less miles, same motor mods, 600 RWHP. i can not pay the same for a 2006.
No disrespect intended, like i have said before..being a seller in a down economy is painful and i have been there.
I have 42,000 dollars that i will hand you for the car. My goal is the best Z06 in Red or Yellow...in my garage by Friday for $42,000 or less

All PMs replied..
Punisher.. Sorry.. I can't sell the car for that low. I would rather keep it.. Thinking of selling it to get another car.. So it's a want and not a need.. Really not desperate to sell and take a short sale!! If I get half of my investment I'm happy.. And that is what I'm asking!!

I don't blame you, if you don't have to sell i wouldn't. I am in the "want" not need category also, so i have just been waiting around for a fantastic deal to come across the table.

Well good luck to you with finding a Z.. I'm sure there are a few out there that will fit your needs.
I would love to give you a fantastic deal but I work too hard for my money to just give it up for less than what it's worth!!
