FS: 2009 C6 Z51 M6 JSB Coupe - 3,200 Miles - Reduced to $38K
*** Sold ***
2009 C6 to sell. It now has 3,200 actual miles on it. The oil was changed at 1500 miles with Mobil-1. The car is perfect.
This C6 is a 2009 2LT, 6-speed Manual with factory options as follows: Z-51 performance package, Jetstream blue cleartint paint, chrome aluminum wheels, two tone seats titanium and black with cross flag embroidery, and NPP dual mode exhaust,.
The following items were added: LG 1 7/8" long tube headers and performance LG cats installed by Old school Automotive in Naperville, Illinois. Car also has Vararam ram-air cold air intake with a 160 thermostat. The car was then custom tuned by Dan Bills at Finish Line Performance in Naperville, Il. The car also has a MGW short throw shifter, JSB/Titanium DSV shift boot, JSB/Titanium E-brake handle and boot, and a Titanium/Ebony padded console lid. The car also has installed jack pads, GM splash guards and GM Stainless cove screens, Lloyds mats front and rear, custom billit Z51 badges by Austin Barret, and a mild to wild exhaust controller, Full Rear JSB spoiler, and corvette dash and bumper letters. Car cover is also included.
This Corvette has a mere 3,200 miles, still smells new, has never been in the rain, its been kept in a climate controlled garage and is absolutely flawless in every way. I can say without question this is as fine a 2009 Corvette low mileage C6 that you will ever find. This car is the real deal. No issues, no problems, and is perfect in every way and I welcome any inspections to prove it. The Car Fax is clean and can be provided.
I have all of the original factory parts and exhaust that will be included with the car. The car can be put back to 100% stock if desired, and the LG's and Varam can be sold.
Car still has approx 16 months of GM bumper to bumper warranty and 40 months remaining on the Drivetrain warranty.

Price Comp
Ok. Guess I have my car priced too high for the Forum or the season.
There is another 2009 JSB listed on the Forum today for $35K firm. Very nice car and I wish the owner the best of luck with the sale. At $35K firm I believe it is a good price comp for my car.
"Could probably use a new set of rear tires. 39,000 highway miles, back and forth to work. Very clean, the only flaw is some curb rash on the passenger side wheels.".
My car has 2004 miles, Like new Z51 tires, LG's, Vararam, Tune, Chrome Wheels with NO rash, and two-tone embroidered seats plus all of the DSVettes leather goodies. That has to be worth $5K to a buyer. It would be to me. So instead of giving it away, I'd rather just keep it.
Regards,
Ron

Tough Crowd Here
Bump ttt.
Ron, you make some very good points on value, and your car is flat out classy and as clean as could be. I love all the nice but subtle mods. I've been shopping for 5-6 months for an 08/09 Z51 and this is the nicest Z51 I have seen of any year. It is exactly what I want. I think the issue now is the deep discounts that dealers give on 11's and 12's really create a compression on values of used cars. At $40k, people start thinking about a 1LT or 2LT base 2012 for a few grand more. At least I do. Granted you don't get the nice mods or the Z51 performance, but you do get brand new model year. If new vettes were selling at MSRP, $40 k would be a easy slam dunk for your's. Your car is truly unique and beautiful. Be patient and stick with it a few weeks and the right buyer will come along. Good luck and sorry your circumstances are pushing you to sell.

Mike,
Thanks for the nice comments. If anyone can purchase this car option for option anywhere near $40K even they should do it. I'd like to see it.
Here is a 1lt with discount pricing from Bud's:
210520
2012 CORVETTE COUPE 1LT
TORCH RED 6 SPEED MANUAL, BASE CAR
MSRP 50500.00 PREFER 46668.00
Now add in 2LT, Cleartint paint color, chrome wheels, two tone seats, embroidered cross flags, NPP, and a full Spoiler. You are at $50K. Now put in the $5K in add-ons and mods.
I'd say if anyone wants a base car go for it. I'll just keep mine for now. Yes, it is a tough crowd everywhere nowdays. Just try to sell a house. :-)
Like I said, thanks for the nice comments. They were appreciated.

If you can buy a option for option comparable 2LT for $38K then I'd defuinetly do it. I don't agree with the no engine warranty due to a tune. Worse case the factory tune could be restored for any warranty work. They can't deny the warranty for the bolt-ons.
All of us can discuss the car's worth all day long all with different opinions. The fact is, if the car was anyone of yours, it would be worth the $40K as well. Especially next spring.
Drive safe.

At $40k, you are better off keeping it. Most people might be scared off because the car probably has no engine warranty, mainly because of the tune. It would be the first thing the dealer would look for it something went on the engine. Also, the dealers can't give the new cars away. My local dealer offered me $26k off a Z06 they had on the floor for months. They also had a new 2011 base coupe 2LT that would have cost me $39k because of being a current Vette owner, I qualified for another $3k off..plus $3k rebate, plus another $7k discount.

Thanks. I'll sell it for ** $38K *** if someone takes it in the next 30 days. Figure I'll pay a few payments on it in the garage this winter. I'm losing money at that price, but what the he!!, everyone demands their pound of flesh and pint of blood on this forum LOL.

TTT - To the Top for the Weekend. Condition, Mileage, Options, Color, and add-ons should make you consider this car if you are in the market. Can also be put back to stock and Headers and CAI sold. Have all original OEM parts.

Price Reduced
Price reduced to $38K. The LG's, Vararam, and Tune were close to $4K installed. The other options and add-ons were $2K. The car is perfect and has 3,200 miles on it. If you want a perfect JSB, then this is it.
