Default WTB... Z06 budget of 38K

I'm looking for a Black/Black or Blue/Black 07+ Z06, prefer 2 or 3LT. 40,000 miles or less. Clean title car. Stock or Modded.

I live in Florida and don't mind flying out somewhere as long as I can make the drive back in a long day.

I know its a long shot with my budget but I'm in no hurry and have cash so eventually I should be able to find one that will work.

I've seen a few 07s right around 40/41k. So you probably aren't that far off but would have a bit more luck if you went just a little higher.

Yea it would be nice, But I'm stuck with that as a budget. The wife and I are expecting a little one in March

so when I brought up the idea of a Z as you can expect it was met with a less than enthusiastic reception.

The deal was struck that I would sell my "Other Toys" and I could buy whatever I wanted with cash from that as long as no savings were touched or extra money borrowed. The toys are gone so time to search for the Z.

I have to budget for the car as well as giving the great state of Florida several grand in taxes for nothing....thanks Florida! If it weren't for that I'd be in the 40-41 range and it would be a much easier task.

The only thing I've got going for me is the cash is sitting waiting and our cars are doing nothing but depreciating so sooner or later my budget will buy me one...

You can score one for your budget. There are lots of cars out there ASKING $41-42k; just keep throwing $37-38k offers their way and you'll find somebody who wants to sell their car. Trust me, there are a ton of guys who've been trying to sell their Zs for a while and we're going into storage season; perfect time to make a deal.

I have a 06 z06 Red in color with 23,xxx miles. Car is beautiful and garage kept and hasn't seen rain since I have owned it. I am thinking of selling the car.

Mods.

Lg motorsports Hood
Lg cams and intake
LG headers cat elimination with borla exhaust
Lg custom tune
Twin disc clutch
Z force wheels with 80% rubber front and rear
Kenwood stero with nav it is a factory size head unit.
I was told somewhere around 550 rwhp.

This is my 5th vette and it is crazy fast.
Just food for though..I'm kinda shooting from the hip here. If youre interested then shoot me email redleg4192@yahoo.com.

I wouldn't take any less than 40K.

Thanks,Vince

Have you noticed prices are higher now? Looking up in the thread, it says there were a number of 07 Zs asking the 40-41K range. Asking prices are typically higher than that these days.

It may just be a summer bump and go back down this coming winter.

yep time is on our side....especially with the unveiling of the C7 after Christmas. I think the prices will slip a few more thousand. I am willing to wait.
