Why are there a very small choice of colors for Z06 and ZR1 Corvettes. All I ever see is gray, black, white or silver. Maybe it's because these are left over and the good colors have all been chosen. Not trying to stir thing up just would not personally by a Corvette in these stealth colors. I've been looking for one for myself but only very rarely see another color.

Yea, If I wanted to pay full price and not get a bargain I could order straight from the factory but I'm just not stupid enough to do that. So there is a valid point that these are bargain deals just because there're still around and this may be because of their color. Now back to the point I was trying to make: why are these colors so prevalent? Is it because there're left over's and most Corvette buyer don't want a bla color but an in your face color after all that's what a Corvette says "In your Face"

I think a lot of people do like the black (contradicting what i just said) but I had a black Corvette and the only time it looked good was in the evening just before dark. Otherwise you could see every little bit of dirt or at night it was just dark (as in "The Dark Knight" or "Dark Man"). Red seems to be able to shine right through a modicum of dirt. I also like the Atomic Orange. I guess that's my problem, I'd like to get a Z06 or ZR1 at a good price but am looking for Red or Orange.

Actually black and gray are the most popular colors. All of the cars I have listed have been in my inventory for less than two months. So none of them are sitting. Also I can order you what you want for a similar discount if interested.

I want to let everybody know that I will be gone from the dealership on vacation from 2/18/12 until 2/27/12. If you want to buy one or order one during that time, please call Wahid or Hamid at (650) 364-0100 and tell them that you are from the forum and know Tim.

so, when you come back, if you can do a 2012 CEZ06 with the carbon fiber hood in lieu of the Carbon package for that price....well you have an email at work

If I don't have what you want in stock, I can order you the car, but the order will have to go in now. Next week is the end of the 2012s.
