WTB Z06 - Looking for Texas Dealer to go to Auctions
Hey guys. Looking for a nice Z06.
I realize many people here are asking dealership-level prices for their cars.
What I can offer is 41000 for a 2008+, or less for older, and a smooth transaction/honest/responsive buyer.
Any trim ZL1, ZL2, ZL3.
<35000 miles, any color, mods welcome.
Extended warranty a bonus, otherwise will have to be 2008+
Preferrably less than 6 driving hours from Houston, Texas.
(give me your best shot, CF)

Found one for 42, 25k miles, 2LZ, two owner, in my state. I just need to run the vehicle history report. I thought some one might already have a carfax subscription.
Maybe I'm not the one that's crazy, maybe it's the prices on this forum that are crazy.
The only color I don't like is that hideous burnt poop-orange. LOL

But yes, people on this forum are absolutely insane asking what they ask for their z06.

Well, I had the option of buying my 350z in the same Orange color that Nissan offered back then. They also gave me the choice of waiting 2 weeks for the silver one to be shipped from california. I got the brilliant silver then, and hopefully I can get the silver Z06 I'm looking at now.

I have unlimited reports from licence plate for 30 days, and 3 left for VIN.
If you give me the licence plate I can run carfax for you.

Really want to start some controversy... Give your opinion what a 2006 zo6 with 25k should go for. Bootyhunter just got back a car max quote for $33,500 for his silver blade 07 with 35k miles on the od. That means 06 must be getting close to 30k price tag carmax price!! 
Imagine once the c7's hit the road in jan and everyone now wants a c7 instead of a c6 zo6. Last time I said this in 2004, people said what if no one likes the new c6 and stays with c5z. Haha couple months later people couldn't give their c5 cars away!

hmm....i spent $41k on my 06 Z with 20K miles last week. You think that is a bad deal? Well minus the money I put down from my C5Z. Also when i talked with Carmax. They don't negotiate on their cars. They have a set price. Well thats what I was told when I talked to one of their salesmen.

Go talk to bootyhunter! He had his silver 07 z listed here for $41,000 couple weeks ago. He said he was going to carmax Saturday, and dropped the price here to $36k because carmax gave him their listed price I guess. Obviously it is a LOT lower than MANY (maybe all) of us might have imagined. If you really have been following c6 pricing then you would know it has been kind of hovering for AWHILE. My opinion is that this drop is overdue....especially with c7 so close....it's just simple economics!

Reason - because that would be a good deal for them. Don't get me wrong, if I found exactly what I was looking for I would pay an extra couple grand if needed, but that's just me. However talking for solely a market price perspective 41k should get you an 07 with 10k and new tires and full tank of gas lol (+extended warranty)

I bought an 07 2LZ every option but the trim piece. It had 6k miles on it and I got it for 39k out the door! It needed tires and a new front lip but it didn't bother me because I would've put NT05s and a ZR1 splitter up front anyway.
THIS is why I get frustrated when people put up an 06 with 40k miles that needs tires for 42k. It's ridiculous.
I sure hope you're correct that they will drop when the C7 is unveiled. I keep saying to myself I'm gonna purchase another z06 in february/march. Hopefully I'll be able to find a black 06-08 with under 20k miles for around 40k.
It seems they are starting to drop already...

This is right now. In 90-180 days days drop 3-6k off those prices after the C7 is here. This is realistic, and Ive owned over 10 Z06's in the last 5 years.

Thats what they're WORTH. But add 10k to each year of those numbers and thats what these people are LISTING them for!!! It's insane.

Agree. Dealerships in Houston are still asking 42-48k for 07s and won't budge. Asking prices on here are similar. Once the C7 is announced, I think it'll be a different story.

I will keep looking and see what happening after the C7 reveal and see if the LS7s valve issue is well known the root cause.
I think more realistic will be
06 Z's 35-38 k
07 Z's 39-42 k
08 Z's 43-45 k
09 Z's 45-47 k
