It has been awhile, but I have finally decided to sell my car and let someone else enjoy it.

Excellent condition, garage kept 2008 Z06 #135. Every available option including navigation. Beautiful 3LZ two tone interior. Only 2900 miles and nice cosmetic upgrades done to car. Never in rain and always covered inside. No engine mods. South Florida car.


1. Smoked out lens kit
2. Remote control mild to wild exhaust kit (opens exhaust butterfly’s from remote inside car)
3. Windshield crystal red lettering
4. Under hood accessories ( smooth rail covers, coolant tank, etc.. covers, Under hood 206 liner with add on courtesy light )

Car has HRE P40 rims on it now($6K) , but I have original rims & tire in boxes in storage.

That is a low mileage clean car no doubt. But its a 7 year old model with a major body change this year. To be realistic this is a 40k car.

Could you sell this to the " perfect" buyer for more, yes.

My .02 spend it wisely.

I'm not a fan of the black stripe but that's how they came.

As far as price I think your spot on considering miles and options your giving.

I presume those are negotiable to a degree?

Very sweet car... One of my favorite colors for a Z... Price seems decent for year and miles... I'm currently trying to sell a vette on here and it seems like this forum should almost say Vette bargain forum for the people saying older vettes are really worth nothing that the new C7 is coming out... Im all about a good deal don't get me wrong but some of these low ball comments is pretty funny...

Stick to your price if you can, I've seen a few of these go around that range. I really wish I was ready to make the jump, these don't come up for sale very often.

No way that's a $40K car - and I was a cynical wannabe buyer once upon a time. There was a 30K mile Carmax trade-in with some questionable wear and tear that quickly sold for $45K several months ago.

I think OP is reasonable with his starting point knowing that everyone wants to negotiate, but let's leave true value up to the market, the deal and how motivated each party is. I've seen this car before on ebay, right? Besides, it's completely off topic for OP's thread.

With that said, it's great car - well done with light cosmetic mods and the HRE wheels really look hot. Love the plate.

Not to mention, fly&drive to Southern Florida? There are worse places to buy a car from.




ETA: I just got a mean PM from this guy saying "come and get it," which I presume is some kind of internet call out? I guess he's really, really convinced it's a sub-$40K car. Anyway, I stand by my initial post, assuming there is no history/title/rebuild issues on this car like OP says. As with any car sale, one must do their due diligence to ensure you get what you pay for.

However, there are no 2008 3LZ Z06's with under 20,000 miles going for $40K - so again, this guy is completely out in left field. Maybe he's comparing OP's car to C4 prices?

What a georgous car! I do think it's a little high priced, but, not a
$ 40,000.00 car! If so, I'd drive over tomorrow and somehow convince my wife I needed it. I'd say somewhere in-between. It is my favorite ZO6 model ever made and I have no idea why you don't see more in CRM. I really enjoyed just looking at it. Good luck with the sale.

I'm trying to sell my 08 Z06, 2LZ, nav, chrome.... as well, not a limited cooksey model - but still low mileage (24k) immaculately taken care of with tasteful mods.

Even posting for 45K I was getting low ball offers in the 30's -- when I do get a bite, there always seems to be some sort of block on the buyer end when it comes to financing, communication, etc etc.... to be honest it's frustrating as hell to answer every email, every question, and to try to be as helpful as you can only to have them walk from such perfection.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade but I've seen this car before. Its been hurt pretty bad early in life. Its still a very nice car but this explains the give away price for a 2,900 427 car.
