2007 Z06 Silver <12k miles
Up for grabs is my fathers 2007 Silver C6 Z06. He bought it new and used it for car shows, he was 70 when he made the purchase and 81 when he died this year. It's pretty cool to drive a 198mph supercar in your 80's.
He was a former GM engineer and a brand loyalist. Service was done at his local Chevrolet dealer.
One of very few unabused and unmolested.
The car has under 12,000 miles and has a fairly new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The original tires had lots of tread left but were dry and scary according to pops.
The car was never raced, tracked or even autocrossed. Still has that new car smell. Wear is minimal, no paint defects or door sill scuffs. The Carfax is clean and I have the complete owners file.
ALWAYS GARAGED
FRESH TIRES
NEW BATTERY
MILD TO WILD REMOTE EXHAUST SWITCH
HAWK CERAMIC PADS
$40k obo

trying to resize photos...pita, after all these years you would think this forum would be up to date.

Click the yellow box with the mountains on it (4 icons to the left of the youtube one) and it will allow you to upload photos.

I moved your thread to the C6 Corvettes for Sale section.
Very sorry for the loss of your father.
Something that a moderator in the C6 Section will ask is since this was your father's car, who's name is on the title now? Do you have the authority to sell the car or will it be someone else signing the title over to a buyer? Just in case you are not the one that can sign the title over, here are some areas that you need to address in your original post to comply with forum FS rules:
Good luck with the sale and again, my condolences on your loss.

Site users sometimes list Corvettes for a friend or relative who is unable to market and sell the car for themselves for some legitimate reason.
We tried a revision to the rules to allow those listings to take place without the need to get prior approval from an administrator so long as the threads disclosed the circumstances of the nominee sale and stated the role they would play in resolving any post-sale disputes.
It hasn’t worked as it has created a proliferation of people offering Corvettes for sale for a friend or relative who declare they will take no responsibility in resolving post-sale disputes. That’s potentially harmful to site users, so we are reverting to some of the previous language.
Going forward, those listing cars or parts they do not personally own must make this clear in their sales thread, posting:
* The circumstances regarding why the owner is not listing the car (already addressed unless someone else is on the title)
* The role the thread starter will play in the sale
* And agreeing to participate in trying to resolve any post-sale issues.
Threads failing to address those points will be removed by moderators.
Potential buyers should be aware of who the actual owner of the car or parts is and who would be responsible for potential disputes before proceeding with a purchase.
Those listing cars or parts they have no affiliation to, just for the interest of other Forum users, should specify "no affiliation" in the thread.

Firstly, sorry for your loss...
Secondly, what a great car/story. Too bad you cannot keep it and enjoy in his memory. Good luck with sale.
