1990 300ZX for C6
Hello all -
Through family I recently came into a clean, one owner 1990 Nissan 300ZX, 2+2 NA (not the turbo). Awesome car and a total blast, but I've always wanted a Corvette, and getting this car made me decide that now is the time. I have been actively looking to buy a C6, low mileage and clean. My plan has been to buy the right C6 as soon as it presents itself, and then sell the Z. Like the Corvette, the Z has a cult-like following, so I thought why not post here as well.
I would trade the Z plus pay you cash. Given current values, this would be approximately - roughly - somewhere around the Z plus $20-25k in cash. That's just a rough guess and of course depends on the many variables involved.
Z IS SOLD -
Thanks gents.

I've had a few emails and should add the information here: No accidents on the Z. Other that the wheels and tires, which are brand new, the car is stock with no modifications. Also, I did keep the stock wheels and they will be included. Car was just recently serviced fully including new timing belt (a must on this car) Finally, this is indeed the original color - no changes.
For anyone looking at this and who may have any advice, I'm all ears for a good place to list classic cars like this. I put an ad on Craigslist as the only place so far, and it's a lot of crazies. I know the trade working out for a C6 is highly unlikely so I need to get on with an outright sale. Any advice?

My advice for top dollar on the Z is this:
1. Clean up those brake calipers and any other exposed metal. The difference in a dirt/grime/grease covered exposed metal vs a clean example really sways confidence in buyers.
2. Give the car a 2 stage detail/polish. Really make the paint pop. On an older car, the condition means everything, and paint is the first and largest condition point for most. It looks like you have quite the collection of spider-webbing and swirl marks, and that may put some perspective buyers in a lower tiered price point.
Be aware: Though the Z's have a following, most going rates are pointed towards the twin-turbo setups. The N/A examples don't bring in nearly as much, even for clean examples.
Good luck on your quest for a Corvette. It's a wonderful vehicle.
