This is true but not so for collector's items. People who collect aren't affected by interest rates, they buy cash. We will continue seeing downside because of inflation and ludicrous rates for sure.

I noticed when I discovered BAT over a year ago, they averaged about 350 vehicles in there. I see now it is well over 700 vehicles. Just the pure volume is gonna drive down prices. I just don't get BAT...as I would never buy sight unseen. There is a YouTube video of a guy that bought (big bucks)a rare muscle car from BAT and found out it was a piece of crap when shipped to him.

The only zr1s I forsee continuing to raise are the manual c7s, dealers are in a bind as now they're upside on inventory, so we'll be seeing good deals pop up.
Things like Ford gt's and other limited cars will soften, but definitely not going back to precovid levels, as i assume investors are using them as a hedge

The c7 will not/has not aged well, it looks like it belongs in the transformers movies, thanks to the Camaro actually being part of that movie, the c7 followed those designs unfortunately. Clean timeless designs age well, that's why the c3 is worth significantly less than the c1/c2's

When we look at crashes in the past, with the exception of 08, they didn't have the quality of companies we do now. We've already ha the worst start in the last 50 years in the market, it can only go so low until it capitulates

Personally I think 80,500 on BAT was reasonable and you will have to take less than that now if you want to sell. Market is soft. Higher mile ones are 65k. You don’t have to post a reply but think about what your highest offer in the past two months has been. after two months on here and a BAT auction which typically brings in the highest prices a car can get I’m sure the pool of buyers has seen it.

Market is softer on everything, ZR1’s will always hold their value and the value of these cars will continue to climb. People are just scared to spend money right now. I’ve gotten about 20 calls over the past month from various dealers I’ve purchased cars from trying to get me to come into their dealership.
no money for cars when student loan deferral resumes. RIP
