Default Support Forum Dealers - Buy a C6 Corvette

We really should be thankful for this Forum and the internet. I really could not
fathom the deals that the Forum Dealers offer at times. I must confess of what a
dofuss that I AM. Sometimes I read the posts of people trying to nickel and dime
a dealer over buying a corvette. I must admit that I was one of these people.
Monica, . . I am sure that you remember me and it's OK to bash me (you have my
permission). Not to bore you but here is my story (point). I had a chance to buy
a 50th Anniversary Auto - Coupe for Invoice Price with 0% financing. It was going
to be approximately $ 46,550 out the door (TN tax and all). I still tried to negoiate
the additional price by offering a price of $ 46,500. A difference of just $ 50.00.

Fifty Dollars. What a bone head. To this day, I have regretted not buying a
50th Anniversary Corvette. Upon the arrival of the 2005 C6 Corvette and seeing
the deals that Forum Dealers are offering, I called local Chevrolet Dealers and
asked about the New Corvette. They said that they could order me a 2005 Corvette
for an undetermine amount OVER MSRP. The sales manager couldn't even tell me
how much OVER MSRP that they were going to charge.

Yeah, . . we could all hold out for a couple of years hoping that prices will go
down or dealers will not sale as many as hoped for (large inventories) to give
discounts, BUT still we need to support the Forum Dealers. I am always looking
to get the BEST DEAL because it is my money but Trust me when I say " I will
never let $ 50 dollars come between me and my dream car . . Corvette".

I will buy my C6 from a Forum Dealer because the local boys will not deal.

Thanks again , . . . . . . for listening.

Paid 49.500 out the door for my 50th in baltimore.Waiting for all the 04"s to be sold and the hype of the new c6 to die down.My next vette will be 500hp zo6.Not to impressed with the c6. I like mine better, but 500hp is hard beat. :jester

I have to agree with you. The 50th Anniversary Model is a beautiful car.
The color is so pretty (as well as the interior color). I wish that I had
bought an Anniversary Model.

I hope that you get a C6-Z06-500HP.
