Need help tracking an order? Help Please.
Gentlemen
The order number is HRKH68.
Can we track this? If so How?
What are the order status codes and what do they mean?
What is the typical timing of each?
Help please. Thanks in advance.

Garry,
Congratulations on your order. I was waiting to see if you wanted to take me up on my offer of $1500 off of MSRP with delivery very soon!
In any event, your selling dealer (Community Chevrolet in IA) can certainly, and SHOULD provide you with the information you are requesting. He should be contacting you each time the event code changes so that you are informed as to the status of your order.
I have, at your public request, inquired on the status of your "order".
It's interesting to note that this "order" is at this time no more than a request with GM. Until such time as a dealer has an actual allocation placed, the "request" will remain as a "request" and not as an "order". Therefore as of this morning no target production week has been assigned to your request as the order has not been accepted as such by GM. Your request is standing at an event code of 1101, vehicle order request submitted.
Here are the event codes that a dealer can view and their meaning:
2001-Order generated to dealer
2005-Order replaced with GM Prospec order
2050-Order changed
2500-Order sent to production, preferenced
3000-Order accepted by production control
3100-Order available to sequence (now the tpw becomes more stable)
3400-Order broadcasted for production
3800-Vehicle produced
4150-Vehicled invoiced to dealer
4200-Vehicle shipped
5000-Vehicle delivered to dealer
6000-Vehicle delivered to customer
6010-Vehicle delivery change
I hope this helps.
Have a great day,
Ken Fichtner

Suggest you ask your dealer straight up regarding his allocation. At 1101 the dealer's order is sitting waiting for an allocation to build your car. He certainly knows what he is allocated or not.
This way you know if it is just a reasonably short wait, or if the snow will be melting in the Spring before your order is picked up at a 2000 or higher status.
Good luck, as it seems you were offered a super price.

NixVet,
I have heard the same rumors but GM has not issued any information in regards to a production stoppage or a hold on vehicle shipments. I am sorry that I haven't anything concrete at this time.
