Default Magnacharger

Rumor has it that the new magnacharger for the C6 LS2 will fit under a stock hood. Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor?

I spoke with the guys at lingenfelter and they said it will still need a custom hood to clear... they with have the hood availible in mid september... I have heard that a next generation magnacharger will fit under a stock hood but Im not holding my breath for that to happen...

I've also heard that it might work with the stock hood.

I talked to MagnaCharger and they told me I will need a new hood. They could not get it to fit. That is why I was looking at the ATI product. Tom, by the way I emailed you. Did you get it?

Well... it was good news while it lasted. They make a good kit but I really don't want to have to change my hood.

I've been out of the office most of today ("babysitting" the house builders). Someone there might have replied to it before they left. If not, you'll have a reply first thing in the morning.

Thank you as always.
