seeking feedback on set up
Recently had my 2005 C 6 modified as follows:
AFR 205 cc Heads
Headers, high flow cats,x-pipe and Corsa exhaust
Pro Charger (P1) with 6 lbs of boost
Aluminum radiator
Cam - Intake .581/224; Exhaust .592/230; Lobe Separation 114
Hyd Lifters
Hardened push rods
170 degree thermostat
Results: 566.5 rwhp
The cam seems a bit too aggressive considering this is a daily driver for me (but it sure sounds sweet). A friend of a friend who works on super chargers for a living test drove the car and thinks the cam was too aggressive of a choice. He thinks a less aggressive cam would have only sacrificed a bit of HP and TQ but would have been much easier on the engine in the long run.
Anyone with a similar combination having regrets/issues after the fact?
