Default Maggies anyone ported?

I know the cobra guys take their Eatons and have them ported by Steigmeyer for a 30-40 hp gain. Can the same be done with the Maggies for Vettes?

Doesn't work on the Magnas, they already have a very nice lower manifold. The Cobra lowers are different and aren't as good as the Magnas.

I asked the guys at Magna about that mod on my first car with the setup. Dang I was hoping it would work too!

Hmmm. Had one of these and they didn't do any work on the lowers as I recall. The Stegmeier ported Cobra blowers opened up the oulet in the bottom of the blower case itself, and cleaned up the surfaces in the inlet port.

That is what I mean, the case outlet on the bottom of the Magna is already opened up compared to the Cobra case. They are basically porting the cases on Cobras to look like Magna outlets.

The power potential due to physical size limits of this MP112 will be reached before the outlet mods would do anything anyways.

yessir. That is what the newly released MP122 case does. It is the same height as the MP112, but longer. More volume of air pushed in per cycle.
