Chapter 2, page 28 of "How to Build High-Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 V8's, by SA Books.
2001 - 2004 LQ4's have 12562317 heads
2002 - 2004 LQ9's have 12572317 heads.
These heads have a "D" shaped exhaust port.
They have a 72cc chamber.
The valve springs should be a natural metal color.
The LQ4 has a 9.4 Compression
The LQ9 has a 10.0 Compression.
The difference is the pistons.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am putting a supercharged combo together for the 67. Thought we would get started now, and have it together for next season. Know of any good chassis shops that could do this install.
