ngk-tr6 question
quick question
im am buying a set of ngk-tr6's for the new FI project on the website there is 2 to choose from
one regular tr6 and one iridium tr6
the iridium is about 4 bucks more per plug are these ness. or are the regular ones fine
i have no prob with spending $6 a plug but if i dont need them im going to just get the regular ones

I would not use Iridium on FI applications.

Just use the Standard Plug....
Set the gap to about .030
And you will be ready to rock and roll.

do the plugs not need to be a step colder???for a FI set-up.

We normally run TR55 plugs on a N/A head and cam motor. The TR6s are a step colder from the TR55s.

You can gap them there, though you will not loose HP by gapping them just slightly smaller. The range most stick to is 30-35.
Your Coil Packs will thank you, and you will have even less chance of spark blow out, on the high end, when the cyl pressure rises.

changing plug
how often do you have to change out the non-iridium?...eveery 12k mile?..I run 125 dry shot. Do you recomend the same setup...tr6 at .035?
