Default intercooler help

i got the crank pinned and all back together but when i installed the intercooler the inlet pipe is hitting the rad braket where the front bolts on. the intercooler is as far forward and up as high as it will go....do i need to cut this or am i missing some trick to make it work

Had the SAME problem! I had to re-position the holes in the bracket (both the bracket mounting holes and the intercooler mounting holes) to make it work. IMO, this bracket is poorly designed and looks cheap for a system such as this. The whole deal, the cheap little angled spacers and the bracket could easily been better designed. I know they must design some flexibility into the bracketry because of production differences, but the intercooler mounting system is crap! This is one area I will re-design and install once everything is up and running.

There is also a post by Bollas that he did some work to the rad. support to get better air flow. Check his post out. Great pics and write up.
