okay 99% damn (damn computer)with this but need to pull the pully off the head unit to get the last bolt in for the bracket (5" pulley and it blocks it just enoug.......). ne way i need to get it off and bought a rubber strap to hold the pulley but it is not breaking loose. are they reverse threads? hell i don't know but i know yu guys have swapped them so little love thanks
shane
You will likly have to get an impact to get it off.
The last thing they want is the bolt backing out, and the pulley comming off, or spinning on the shaft.
last question and i am done. the connection between the blower and the intake....what you use. i got two hoses left one to big and one to small. in the pics i see one clamp and no rubber but surely no...............
Gotta use an impact, ol buddy! Didn't tell you that the pulley must come off in the instructions, huh? Guess they figured we had a certain level of competance and common sense. (Ha, I'll never forget that one!) I used the 4" reducer between the throttle body and the MAF. Then, had to heat and stretch the next hose to fit the MAF, then slip over the IC connecting tube. Sounds like you're getting close. Good luck.
sorry i didn't explain well that part done it is from the blower to the air filter that is the issue. where the blower connects to the plastic housing. i am done but for start up.....got to tow the thing to the dealer to reset the computer every shop around me uses hp tuners and lg tuned it with ls2edit and it is locked to them
Hey Shane,
Your almost finished, cool.. Who is doing the tuning for you ? or did you buy the tuner package? . Did you remember to do the "bollas" mod with the intercooler to give your radiator some more breathing room ?
I had the same problem with their hoses, I ended up buying some more at the speed shop to finish along with better clamps.
Good luck bud, maybe you can get some blasts before winter sets in and salt trucks come out.

I was wondering about LG's tune being locked. Did you think about sending to back to them to restore your original? I am getting ready to also FI and will be facing the same problem. However, I may just drive down and have them tune it for me. I think if you keep the revs down and don't get on it, the existing tune should be OK until you get the re-tune. What does everyone think? If it is an issue, then I will send it to LG and have them restore and use the FI system tune until I can get it dyno tuned.
