Default What's the word on the Kenne Bell S/C?

There has been plenty of passing mention, but does anyone know or have a good idea when Kenne Bell or Whipple may come out with C6 packages?

Yeah-
I know that if KB drags their feet with their C6 kit like they did with the C5 kit,
everyone will already have twin turbos on their C6's and there will be few buyers left for KB to sell C6 kits to

The Maggie SUCKS compared to at TT or a Lysholm!

I can't understand why ANYONE would STILL be talking about a Maggie with APS, TTi-X, and the Kenne Bell available.

Oh wait!
Trying to make yourself feel better about already installing one on your car?

EVERY Maggie guys I have spoken with eventually admits they wish they had gone with a TT.

Either live with the Maggie,
or sell it for a TT.

But,
don't go promoting them here.
It's in bad taste now that better alternatives are available.

If you are familiar with both the APS and the Maggie,
how could you recommend the Maggie to ANYONE?

I understand buyer's remorse,
but recommending it?
C'mon.

Are you for real...this is a joke right?

I've driven a few C6 Maggies including 1bdasvt's hotrod, stoplight to stoplight it's one of the most exciting cars to drive!!!

Stating the "Maggie sucks" is simply being ignorant, I'm sorry to say!

Incidentally, if you had the pleasure of seeing George's (1bdasvt) hotrod up close in person as I have, you will appreciate the personal touches he done, a true Corvette enthusist to enjoy.

The Maggie or KB provide everyday useable power. My car is not a race car and I don't spend my day driving around at 6000rpm. If I put one my Vette it will definitely be a Maggie.

Below is my Durango RT with a KB

Brabus-
What's the latest on your 402 APS TT?
Any recent dynos or track times?

You know about the high IAT's and lack of expandability of the Maggie.
If you thought the Maggie was a good system,
you would have installed it instead of the Procharger.

Now that the APS and other TT's are available,
you GOTTA agree that it's lights out for the Maggie.

Even if you wanted a positive displacement blower,
you'd have to recommend a Kenne Bell.

Don't you agree ?????

I'm not ragging on SVT or his C6,
I'm ragging on the Maggie for good reasons.

What's your opinion of the Kenne Bell after owning one?
I would really like to hear all about the Kenne Bell owning "experience" since you have been runnning one on the street.

Are you kidding about the Maggie?
Why would you go with a Maggie?

Why not a APS or TTi-X twin turbo?

I don't have a Maggied Vette but I have one in a LS2 GTO and it has been solidly reliable. It is common knowledge that in the long run it is more reliable and less maintenance than a TT . I prefer the oem look to the Maggie.

This guy just goes from thread to thread looking for an opportunity to rag on the maggie.

Like I asked you before when you posted in my dad's thread - where are your dyno #'s, pictures of your car with the procharger you "supposedly" have, and how about some actual dyno graphs? I'm not saying that you don't have it, but as posted earlier in this thread, can you even prove that you have a vette?

Some people want different things out of their car, and there are vast differences between roots type supercharges and turbos. Prochargers and Turbos, make their power in a more peaky fashion, so even though they might make better peak numbers they don't produce them until later in the powerband. Whereas, maggies make their power as soon as you punch the gas. Not to mention the sound of my dad's maggie is incredible. Different strokes for different folks.

If I were a moderator I would ban you; this type of childish behavior is at home on the Honda Civic forums, not the Corvette Forums.
