Default Dumb Methanol Question

I am running 100% methanol in my washer fluid holding tank. I have refrained from using my windshiled washer because I am not sure what methanol will do to my paint. I don't plan on using it very often but you always have that occasional time when you could really use a washing. I would guess most of you are running a mix of meth and washer fluid, but I live in an area where I can only buy 91 octane fuel so I need all the octane I can get. Can you clean the windshield with 100% methanol from time to time? If not, what are you guys doing? I guess I could just hang my head out the window until the next gas station

I disconnect the factory pump & line when I ran my alky kit, I too was concerned about it overshooting and getting on the paint...although it does evaporate quickly. I kept glass cleaner inside the storage box.

Your car looks awesome.

Same here, although if does get on the paint it wont harm it. (speaking from experience:o ) But it does take the wax off.

I had my battery relocated to one of the rear storage compartments and had a separate tank for the meth/alky installed where the battery was. Personally, I was not willing to lose my windshield washer feature. Relocating the battery to the rear passenger side storage compartment was the most logical alternative for me.

My tune was based around 100% I can definately see it on my wide band when I have changed to a 50/50 mix. I think I better stay with what my tuner said, just in case I should have problems the finger doesn't point at me!

GPJ,

Your car looks awsome! That chin spoiler and hood make a great front end. Do you have more pictures of your car?
