Default boost

what is the rule of thumb for each pound of psi we add under boost. say we start out with 400 hp with no boost and take it to 5 psi and then to 10 psi and then to 15 psi what hp #,# would we see . tt/ sc just looking fo an averge.

Assuming the form of FI is in its efficient operating range a good rule of thumb is anywhere from 25-30rwhp per pound of intercooled boost.

From Jim Bells Supercharged/Turbocharged Rules of Thumb:

~ 1 psi boost = 6.8% horsepower max (1/14.7 = 6.8%)

At 5lbs approx 536hp
10 lbs is near 672
15lbs would be 800hp at the flywheel approx.

You basically need 7lbs to get 500rwhp
