As some of you may know I am running an APS twin turbo kit and a mild cam... My main goals are to maintain a car that is a well rounded, fast, and a reliable street car. Reliability being key, and efficiency being important as well. So I had an idea today and wanted those experienced with nitrous to chime in, as I don't know much about the old laughing gas myself...
I was wondering about doing a custom intercooler sprayer setup for the dual APS front mounts, as well as spraying a small dry shot to cool down intake temps. I am going off total assumption that this would both further cool the air going from the turbos through the intercoolers, as well ast cool it all together right as it enters the motor... So can I do a setup that would spray the intercoolers manually, as well as arm it to spray them and a dry shot at the same time under a WOT window switch...?

If you want to make some extra power then the small shot into the motor is going to yield you a lot better results then the nitrous that is going to get on the intercoolers. IMHO, praying the intercoolers is a waste of good N2O.
For the best HP/$$$ you would be better served with a meth kit and cranking the boost up a pound or two.

A small shot of nitrous into a FI motor works very well. In turbo applications, it makes the turbos spool up immediately. It also provides additional performance gains as a result of its low temperatures which provide an additional intercooling effect. Thus it is not unusual to see a 150% - 200% horsepower gain for the nitrous used...example, a small 40hp shot would likely actually pick up 60 - 80hp due to the additional intercooling effect.
If your going to spray the n2o into the motor there is no point in spraying the intercooler. You will literally be wasting it.
I do purge into the intercooler, when I'm getting ready for a run... (just for fun, & a unique place to purge) Not that it actually lowers iat's seconds later, when the run starts... If you're gonna use N2O the a dry shot is for sure the way to go... You'll be amazed what a little 50 shot will do...

You will get better gains from a good custom meth kit
The added octane and cooling efect is amazing when tuned right!
