What is the REALISTIC RWHP for your TT kit on PUMP gas 93 octane with 6 lbs of boost using 60 lb injectors on a mn6 ls2 07 vett with stock exhasut (except for corsa cat back only) with a conservative tune. I am looking for 550 RWHP is that realistic with only 6 lbs of boost and stock exhaust. Not looking to lean the car out too much for just a few hp and then frying the engine. Do you recommend 2 bar speed density tune or some other type of tune. Thank you for your comments. Also I PM'd Peter, please respond when you get a chance.

At 6 psi, you'll probably make about 500 rwhp, with a safe tune.
If you crank up the timing to get the power up, it may pick up a bit more power, but then you'll run the risk of detonation.
That's why meth injection works so well, because you can throw a few more degrees of timing at the engine with a lessened risk of detonation.
Power is found primarily in the timing curve, not as much in air/fuel ratios, unless the car is running pig rich.

I have exactly the setup you are describing. I have 60# injectors, a boost-a-pump, and a 2bar tune with my APS Twin Turbo kit. Everything else on my 2006 C6 coupe is completely stock even the exhaust. I pulled 480rwhp and 496rwtq on the dyno at 6psi just a week ago or so.

As far as your tune is concerned, I definitely recommend the 2bar speed density tune if you are tuning it yourself. I am not a pro tuner, just a computer programmer learning the ropes on tuning, and it certainly was easier for a novice tuner like me to tune with the 2bar in the boost region. I started to tune mine as a 1bar, but switched to the 2bar and was glad I did, everything fell into place once I switched to the 2bar tune. I used HPTuners to tune my car.

If you are getting a pro tuner to tune the car, just go with what they are comfortable with, they do it every day, it seems some guys prefer the 1bar tune, and others prefer the 2bar.

For me it only makes sense that if the car is being boosted, that the computer ought to know by how much, and it can't know that with a 1bar tune, the air pressure just maxes out.

If you're on 93 octane fuel and measuring power on a dyno jet dyno with a thorough tuning strategy you should see around 530 rwhp.

I'd stay with a MAF based tune if you're only runing low boost................6 to 9 PSI.
