Boy, I could use more mod money.... and more ways to convince my wife that I need more mods.

I'm still in line for the meth kit. Tuner has me tentatively slotted for early June. I'm thinking of maybe just purchasing the meth kit and tackling the install myself so that all he needs to do is tuning. As soon as I get a date - I'll let you guys know.

I'm also thinking of installing the kit myself...looks pretty easy. What kit are you going with?

I'm leaning towards the Snow Performance kit. I'm hearing there may be a new version on the market soon and the early details sound nice.

Although, the ECS/AlkyControl kit is nice too and the guys at ECS shot me a pretty good quote on install and tune if I was interested in that.

I think I'd go with the Alky control kit.
I spoke with the mfg.{Julio} and He gave me alot of insight on the "works" of His product!
Anyways, let me know what's up so I can do some more "stuff!!"
I told my Wife the other day that I have an "empty feeling",....I think it's because it's been a while since I did any power mods!!!!!

Yes, that's the current Snow Perf kit for out cars. Rumor is a Stage 3 kit is coming with more features and LCD readout.

I am considering the Snow kit also. I have not heard about the new Stage 3..........I could do without the LCD though (after the fire ext. and boost gauge, I would rather not add anything else to the interior).

No buddy, just a little 'ol 112 with a 3.2!

They tell me it created between 7 to 7 1/2 lbs. of boost during the tuning. I don't have gauges yet. Just had to fill'er-up @ $3.14 per gal. Got a total of 200 mile on my 1st full tank with the s/c. Oh well....guess I better get use to it. I'm sure the next tank full will be better. I'll try to keep it light on the pedal, it's just nice to know the power's there if I want it.

Also, notice the hood? I've had a real tough time with the alignment. it fits kind'a high at the front bumper. I'm not gonn'a mess with it unless it moves again.

Pix look great! Love the polished Maggies.

... and George - you are right... how much fun would it be to get all the Maggie owners together!?!?!

On the 3.2 pulley - that's about right, I see about 7/7.5 lbs with mine... and I forgot to followup on the idle. I had it out yesterday, idle is 600 rpms. ... but the problem I continually have is staying out of boost.

Hey Knkali, I'm with you. I'm curious to see how this next tank full goes, but like Creeper say, it's all about trying to staying out of the boost, which is tough to do.

600rpm?? That's it?! I've got to get the idle turned down. Thanks for checking it for me Creeper.

Next, is gauges & new fuel rail covers. I haven't checked, but is it possible to trim the stock covers to fit?? It's justs having to pay ~$450-500 for a set of unpainted Maggie rail covers from LPE! Man, not exactly a high priority right now.

No problem. You can call me Doug BTW... though others have called me worse.

Anyway, you can trim the stock covers to fit. There's several guys that have done that.

Doug
