Need Help Have a few ???
Ok, I have a 07 c6 A6. Current Mods are. A&A Vortech kit. 60lb injectors, boost-a-pump, ported intake manifold and ported throttle body. I am currently putting down like 487/432 on about 8lbs of boost.
That being said....
Today I ordered Dynatech Catted Header System and a Borla Stinger Rear System. Im up in the air about weather I should Purchase a Methanol Kit also and Install before I re-dyno.
Now the questions...
What should I approx put down with my new mods minus the Meth kit or with the Meth Kit? Am I safer to use Meth then not to use Meth? I do drive this car about 3 days or so a week and would like to keep it a lifetime (obviously **** brakes over time) but would like to keep the car as a daily driver style car. Any Input will help....

Ok. Your mods are not that far off from mine. I would expect that you will be making 520's with the headers and borla. Now as far as the meth goes, I would highly suggest it. It can only help keep the motor cooler under high boost. Just set it up to come on at 3 lbs or so, then wide open by 6. I drive my car almost everyday and am running about 12psi.
