? about no cats/check engine light
I have a question for someone in here...
Say your car is running with an offroad x-pipe (no cats) and the check engine light is on always since it has not been turned off yet- Does this cause the car to run open loop constantly and real rich?
I am waiting for my new injectors and then going to tune it out, but have been noticing the car is running through gas fast and getting more backfiring than usual on decel.

My CEL comes on intermitently (maybe once or twice a week, for an hour or so at a time) then goes off. I'm not sure it is running open loop when on, but I'd like to know...
(PS- my car runs pig rich all the time anyway!
