Default 2 stage nitrous

I have a 125 dry shot installed...i like to add more nitrous after the 1/8 miles mark.

can i add a 2nd stage?
what does it involve...part wise?
will it be wet or dry for the 2nd stage?

Thats too late for much gain you want to spray as much as the tires will hold as soon as you can.

The best ETs are from the 60 foot or the sooner the hit the better, I found it best to hit it a few feet out when the rear end is low IE the most weight on the rears the nose will stay up and the rear will stay planted that way b4 the nose drops hit the 2nd stage.

For DR's I would go progessive FJO is nice and cheap or

75-100 right away
50-100 as soon as traction is there late in first or soon in second

For less of a tire

50-75 right away
75-100 with traction

You can do a 2 stage dry hit not sure how much the stock injectos can handle???

I would get the Nitrous Outlet window switch it will control both stages and wot via tps you could just use a switch.

You need a Y, another solinoid and nozzels or a plate if you want to go wet, they make a nice dual stage plate

i was hoping to add more juice after my original 125 dry shot. I am running in the mids 11...and wanting to break the 11 sec barrier.

Is it possible to add in addition to the 125 dry shot?

Yes , but i would personaly go with a wet kit for the 2nd stage .

I run 2 wet kits with a stand alone fuel system .

Like Sold said tho , you want to hit the 2nd kit asap ,, dont wait till the 1/8 mile mark .

The car with the 408 stroker motor should run 9.50s on a 350 2 stage kit :P

Not as efective and I think you are wasting your time and money, you can go faster with less N20 if you spray it sooner, and the motor should live longer.

What are your 60's ET's Mph NA and 125 same day?

What tire are you running?

My car picks up
.7 and 6 mph on a 50 shot
1 sec and 10 mph on a 75 shot

A progressive 150-180 shot and good 60' sounds like it would get you there.

or 50-75 1st stage right away and 75-100 close 2nd stage.

Bottom line you need to spray as much as you can as soon as you can

Try it now wait till the 1/8 mile and spray your current setup vs spraying it out of the hole, you should pickup MPH but not much ET if you pick up a second your way should work and I am wrong.

60' time is around 1.99-96...this is on stock emt...i am switching over t 17" drag radial. I am new at the 2 stage stuff. So my thinking was wrong about spraying more later down the track.

My questions is that....is it possible to add on the my existing 125 dry shot kit....i dont want to waste money and start over.

Just buy a $450 wet kit and install it on a 2nd switch that way you are not taxing your injectors any more .

Just a set of 17" DRs might get you into the 10's

So if you get your 60 down from 2.0 to 1.80 you should drop .4 in the big end.

IE a 11.58 should be real close to 11.18

IMO 1.7's are as low as you want to go as I have seen things start to bend / break in the 1.6's

You can simply rejet your current kit and add a second stage or just bump it up to a 150 shot and spray it as soon as you can

Do you have more jets? they are only $5 and take 2 mins to swap.

Who installed your kit?

Can you tell us all the details of your kit and times motor and spray.

What tire did you get?

I installed the kit myself. Its from HSW....single jet before the maf sensor. I flip the switch after the 60' and keep it on the whole 1/4 miles.

Did you descreen the maf?

I would at least upgrade to a dual nozel system for the bigger shot and rejet the single nozel you have.
