Is there a minimum time one has to wait before installing a maggie on their C6? Do you have to have a certain number of miles on it before you should supercharge it or is it ok to do it anytime? I have a brand new 07 with about 300 miles and I am thinking of pulling the trigger on the maggie....Thanks!
You're going to get differing opinions on this..........but (and this is my opinion) I would not add a supercharger until I had 2000-3000 miles (minimum) on the car. I think it's just a little safer to make sure the entire drivetrain has had time to "run in". I also think it's a good idea to wait a while for any problems that might show up before you mod. I had about 5000 miles on mine before I had the maggie installed......you're going to love it.
I've seen them put put on brand new cars!
Just think of the "factory" blower cars like Roush Mustangs,Benz's,..etc.
Side note to Steve{my grill cover is off,so am I still in the Maggie club? }

You probably dont have to wait, but just to be on the safe side maybe you should put a few hundred miles on it (easy miles) for everything to seat properly, before you start adding power adders!
Check this C6 out, it still had the paper plate on it when we added the ATI ProCharger. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=30
We started out at 323 rwhp on this bone stock C6 Corvette, and we are now at a consistant 470 rwhp. Bob
