While im not one to bash other company's, i do advise caution with this company. On Ls1-Tech he had a hard time delivering kits to customers. There is also one user whom is still out $8000 as far as i know.
Unfortunately, this company is a classic example of a person getting in over there head in custom fabrication.
No, I don't work for them or own the company. He had a stand at Corvette Carlisle and I've been in contact with him since then. Seeing as it is a big investment on an expensive car I am just doing my homework before I go spending the money.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the big (widely-publicized) problem with the APS kit was with their fuel system, not the turbo's or tubing themselves.
If I were doing TT, I would do APS, just because of positive posts in the FI forum about their product.
Not to sure about single turbo? Find out if its a top mount turbo. Top mount can cause a lot of engine temp under the hood!! My rule of thumb is to not cut corners on these cars!i would go with aps twin turbo setup! Great kit and very reliable! Just my opinion!!!

it was their fuel system and their turbo piping on both c6 and c5 kits.i have the c6 APS kit and if i had it to do again i would go TTI.their is not a fix for the kits yet and Peter admitted that their is an issue with the c5 kit he hasnt addressed the c6 kit.but really why take a chance with APS.or you can wait to see if they fix it,anyway thats my opinion.
Wow, so many opinions on vendors! Turbo-Zone had one issue with a Mr. Jon Hendrix. He paid $6500 for parts, which he received and then turned around and sold them. The misunderstanding was he thought he was getting more parts. The situation is resolved and suffice to say Turbo-Zone has delivered every turbo kit they've been paid to do.
Turbo-Zone kits have a great design, great components, make great power and are competatively priced. I would not buy a kit that advises you, within the instructions, to take a hammer and smash the under side of your car...to make the turbos and waste gates fit.
I'll chime in here. I bought a twin turbo kit from John @ Turbo-Zone. I have to say i was happy with my choice.... he delivered my products for one hell of a deal and stood by for any and all questions i had. I had some ironing out to do with the kit as any would with a one-off kit and John was always there to help me out and advice. I had an issue with one of my turbos and John had it fixed for me in record time and right back to me in the middle of the summer season so i wouldnt have much downtime. I am happy with my decision and having the support John has given me throughout my build was a big help being new to turbos. He will stand behind his work, and no i wasnt paid for this response, hahaha. I just saw Turbo-Zone so i figured i'd post up my experience. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the information! I appreciate it. I probably will go with Turbo-Zone...he was supposed to pick it up this month but I'm probably going to have to put it off until spring.
by the way...any numbers (RWHP, Torque) on the turbos?
I ran it on my 100% stock ls1 plus valvesprings on 5.5 psi through my automatic on a mustang dyno and made 413/420. More than i expected on weaksauce boost with an auto on the ego killer dyno.
