Two questions for you guys!! One, whats the difference between the two blowers the M112 and the M122?? Second, when you order the maggie package from tuners such as MTI or Lingenfelter and it comes with the hood do they also install and paint the hood for you ?? Just wasn't sure and thinking about next Spring !! Thanks guys.
The Maggie 122 has a larger displacement than the smaller 112, pushes more air, makes more power. The hood question: Call the tuner, but I think paint would be an extra cost option.
Here is a pic of a 122. The 122 is .800 longer that a 112. It flows more air at a lower air intake temp. "=more power" I have had mine for a year now and love it ,problem free at 7.5lbs of boost with a 3.2 pulley, cam, and headers.

This pic shows where you have to mod a RK Sport hood for the additional length. I had my hood modified and painted by a local body shop. All the engine work was done by Nextlevel Performance.

If you don't mind me asking, what #'s are you putting down with the 122.
Mine is a manual. The 122 moves more air at a lower temp.that is why it can make more power, and with our small displacement engines it can keep providing all the air needed at higher rpm.
You can drop the pulley size and add enough meth to lower the IAT's, that'll get you closer..or put a 122 on there. Plus, is Gene's also an auto?
Charlie
Thanks Charlie!
I believe the pulley is as small as I can go without "grinding" the nose.
I "do" hope to get a meth kit one day!
Or,..I'll just wait for the TVS model!!!

Thanks Gene!! Awesome car bro!! I really love the ram air Lingenfelter hood though so when the time comes I will go with that one
The Lingenfelter pkg includes a painted hood. If you want to make over 500 rwhp, I would definitely go with the 122........it would be easier in the long run. If you don't, I would save the $1000 and purchase the 112. You're going to love the maggie.

Thanks for posting and pics. Very informative. I am putting a 122 on my C5-R 427 and I wondered just how much hood support would need to be sacrificed. Maggie looks great and so does the hood work. Also very impressive numbers!
I saw the maggie on that C5R 427 Saturday at MTI, spoke with you a good bit or pretty sure it was you. I had the yellow 08 that dynoed near the end. All I can say is that c5 was a beautiful car and is going to be some nice power.
