I have an 07 LS-2 MN6 with a Vortech SQ from A&A. It was dynoed at 496/448 with 6.5 psi. There are no other mods. I live at 5300 ft in CO. The actual power is much less than the corrected numbers on the Mustang dyno as expected due to the altitude. This leads me to beleive that I can increase the boost before things become marginal.

- Is it safe to increase boost to 8-9?
- Power suffers a lot at high temps. Is this to be expected?
- I have thought about adding headers, but if I can get 40 hp from a boost increase, I may pospone this mod.

The LS-2 clutch is being replaced by a dealer with an LS-7. This should add some margin for increases and allow using drag radials. I realize that this clutch is not as strong the twin discs, but it is free. Someone on the forum said that 07's came with LS-7 clutches, but I doubt that this is the case. Has anyone found that their 07 LS-2 has an LS-7 clutch from the factory? I asked the dealer to compare them when they change mine over the next couple of days.

Was your car ever customed tuned? Mine was dynoed without the tune and it made very similar numbers to yours. After the TUNE ONLY it made this with only a catback and andy's AA kit with a 3.8" pulley. There was so much power left on the table before the tune done professionally.

Some of the difference is due to the dyno-jet, which indicates about 7% higher than the Mustang. What boost are you getting?
