Default A & A Vortech?

Has anyone installed an A & A vortech supercharger kit on a 06 or 07 Z06? Did you run into any problems etc. Please explain how you ran your oil lines and I guess you had to drill and put a fitting into your oil pan? I am serious about doing this but I want a very professional looking job.

Thanks
David

The A&A kit looks very clean under the hood, it installs like any other C5/C6 kit would, the Z06 it is no different really. You will not see the the drain line and most of the feed from the top of the engine bay.

You mean like this?

Yeah I had tons of problems, like what tires do I get to hold 500rwhp and jeez these stock brakes suck. LOL

No seriously it's a well built kit. The only issue I had was a blown fuel pump fuse. The thing I like about Andys kit is the intercooler is smaller than the other ones so you don't have the cooling issues nearly as bad. Vortechs are generally very quiet. There is no better bang for your buck per horsepower period.

Check out those sick remote resevoirs.

Look at the DeWitts Rad in front buddy, I highly recommend doing the Dewitts.

A&A is the only one I know of that you can put an external oil cooler next to the intercooler.

Although I cannot speak to the Z06 application, the A&A setup is quite tidy and nice:

The Z06 setup looks similar, but I would, frankly, be cautious about boosting the LS7 - it's internals simply are not as robust as the LS2. You can't go crazy with the boost at all (nor should you with the LS2/3).

I think the LS3 will be great platform for the blower. It has a little less compression and a great cylinder head.
We're about to find out how a stock LS3 responds to boost on my car next week.
I'm looking to get 600 RWHP on a bone stock 08.

I haven't had that problem. My Z06 kit also includes a DeWitt's radiator.
