Default Paxton Oil Feed

With a Paxton SC on a c6z06 where do you get tap into your oil supply? This is one thing that bothers me about a SC.

On the C6 kit you can get Novi 1500 with self contained option. It also uses a slinger but different then Procharger.

On Novi it centrifuges oil up into upper cavity then oil drains back onto gears to lubricate them. On Procharger it has a thin gear that centrifuges oil onto smaller or output shaft gear. The Novi is much quieter do helical gearing and slinger design.

I've often thought than the the oil cooler supply and return ports for the Z51 cars could be used for this purpose. My car is non-Z51. and I used a Lingenfelter adapter to supply and return to the oil cooler I installed. Seems this could be used to supply oil, and return it, for sc that need this. Sure would beat having to drill the pan for a return.

In addition the ECS kit uses an adapter plate at the oil filter, no tapping the oil pan, at least that was the way they did it the last time I checked.

Actually we feed the head unit from a fitting on the side of the block, simply remove a Allen head plug and install the fitting and line. Or you could go self contained as said before, that option is up to you.

I agree, we now have the option for self contained, but my car would be installed oil fed, do it once and it's done forever, no maintenance other than rear tires and normal scheduled work.

Default Oil supply adapter

We offer two versions of our adapter.

One for use with an oil cooler (-10 lines):


And one for use without an oil cooler:


We normally modify the oil pan to return the oil to the pan.
