Default Z06 - ProCharger

I've decided to go with a ProCharger this year. I'm looking for information from anyone that's done a ProCharger on a C6 Z06. A few questions:

1) What fuel systems are recommended?
2) Are LT headers an assumed inclusion?
3) Anyone using the F-1C with forged internals?

I'm debating between the 622 RWHP and 820 RWHP options. Two concerns: driveability and cost (of course).

Any considerations that I should be looking into? Pro's / Con's?

I was looking at the APS setup too (which looks very nice), but it seems to be fairly overpriced (compared to other FI options).

TIA!

Hi,

We've actually done quite a few of them, here is a link to the results from our latest:

If you want to go with the F1 and shoot for 800+ HP, it's definately something that can be done, but it will require internal engine work, and several other upgrades, which will about double the cost.

The driveability, and durability of either kit is very good, and the only thing you may need to worry about are the rear tires!

We upgrade the fuel system with larger injectors, and a boost-a-pump, and almost always use the headers. If you prefer to stay away from headers, we can still get about 580RWHP from the same boost level!

You can see the full contents of our ZO6 procharger package here:

Please let me know if I can answer any questions,
Ed

Very nice!!!

So $16k should do the 800 option? How much are typical LT header and exhaust systems? Finally, how long do you need a car for to run through the 800HP setup?

It looks like you're about 15 hours from me. That's workable.

Yes, we could do the 800+ HP version in that price neighborhood. The headers add 1,595.00 for S/S kooks and x-pipe with high fllow cats, and we would definately want hem on the high HP version.

We can also arrange enclosed, door to door transport of your vehicle,
If you PM me your email, and zip code, I'll put together a complete price quote for you.

Thank you,
Ed
