Default Maggie install-Phase 1 complete!

Well, things are getting under way. Got the hood for a great price and recieved in record time from Sick Motorsport Products. Thanks to this great new vendor for all his help!! Had the car in the shop tuesday and they had it ready this morning. I was hoping for a very subtle look, but fellow forum member warned that is was quite a difference. I must say, the bulge on this hood is quite big...but WOW does it look GREAT!!!! The car looks meaner now, but not overdone. I also think the bulge kind of goes along with the flared fenders of the Z06 body kit. From the drivers seat, the thing looks awesome. Now just got to figure out when to get started on the maggie installation, but things are going well!! Here are a few (crappy) pics.

Looks good............I've been very happy with my hood. I think it's just enough to be noticable, but not too aggressive.

UUummmmm........nope LOL...forgot about the notch and then I rushed to the body shop to try and stop them but they were already painting it. Didnt want to have to pay more so I just let them continue. I'm going to have to cut the notch out, fab a piece to fill it, pre-paint it, then epoxy it in. It's all good, I dont show off whats under the hood anyway.

And you're right.... got more looks than usual from the women yesterday thanks to my new bigger bulge, hehe.

Hey man! No kiddin, where'd you run off to??

Yea I ditched the N2O. To be totally honest, I really loved the gas, SOOOOO much fun!!! And the instant kick in the rear is unlike any other power adder. The one and ONLY thing i never liked about the nitrous was seeing the bottle back there. Most like to show off the bottle, I wanted mine hidden. I like to look back into the hatch and see a nice, big, stock-looking cargo bay. Then I took a ride in my friends Kenne Bell mustag and the SOUND is what did me in!!!

I dont really have any power goals in mind, anything over 500 rwhp is good. Im at 450rwhp on all motor and I have a ton of fun in the car just the way it is. Rarely ever used the nitrous really, and when I would it was just to get a quick scare out of myself. I honestly would have been fine, power-wise, if I just left the car as-is and got rid of the nitrous anyway. It's just that I still wanted that sound!!!!!!!

Most expensive sound I've ever bought, but I cant wait for it to be done!!
