Ls Motors Reliability
Can anyone tell me, what the track record with the LS motors with super chargers is, of course I am talking safe tune 5-6 lbs of boost. I am getting ready to bolt one on my LS3 and I was curious, thanks for the help.

Yep, it's all in the tune. There can be a 5/6ish boosted motor tuned to detonate itself apart or a motor with even higher boost doing just fine because the tuner knew what they were doing. Your block probably won't be the weak link, generally the pistons are the first to suffer damage to detonation. The LS3 block is rated to 525 hp. Probably a very conservative rating. With forged internals and proper tuning, I'll bet it's good for more.
