Default Please help with future set up for LS3

I Wanted some opinions on a set up for my 08 LS3 A6 Z51 car. First of all, I am not looking to make insane numbers. I would be very happy with my car keeping its fun drivability and being around 550rwhp (if the tranny permits those levels of power, not sure with the A6 since there are not any strengthening upgrades yet, if not 500rwhp is fine) I really am more interested in longevity for this set up and not having to worry every time I get on it, if the tranny is going to give out of if the motor is going to blow up. I am contemplating between a TT kit and a Centrifugal blower for the car. I guess my choices would be TTiX, APS, or STS for the Turbo kits and if I go Centri it would be ECS's Novi 1500 kit. I was thinking since my car is an auto that the TT kit might be a better choice. What do you guys think???!!! How would the A6 hold up and do you think the TT's would be superior to the blower for a fun street car that sees occasional trips to the strip?? Thanks

if you just want 500 to the wheels you could just do intake, exhaust, headers and cam. with ls3 500 is easy!!!

It's an auto, I don't want a cam because its gonna change the idle and the drivability. I would want 550 if its safe for the tranny and I'm sure I want FI but thanks !!

Does the cost and ability to easily change back to stock matter? SC seems to be less costly and not as complex in terms of installation. Looking at the APS TT instruction, it looks like there're some serious modification requirements that need to be made to install and removing it might be more difficult. Since I haven't own a TT, I'm just speculating. At present, I think the APS TT is available for LS1, LS2 and LS7. Both A&A and ECS have self-contained oil head units which make it a little easier to install/remove. TTiX kit appears to be a very nice kit as well.

ECS kit alone may get you there, but why stop there... ECS kit, Headers, and ALKY kit, and you'll be elated!!!

So all you guys saying ECS kit or Vortech, do you think the TT kit will not have any huge advantage over a centri just because the car is an auto? You think the blower will work just as well for an auto.

Either way you'll be happy. Just easier and more cost effective with the ECS kit over TT... But both will get the job done... And each has individual pros & cons over the other...

Marc was awesome and so was the car. Things fell through because of personal loans through a bank and the fact that marcs car was worth more than book value. Im very happy with my 08 though!!! I see you still have the beast Richard?? Any bites yet ?
