lifter collapse, engine is gone

Just got the call. Lifter collapsed and got stuck in the bore hole (my ignorance is showing, I have no idea what that is). Several valves are bent, pistons are nicked, timing chain is shot, cam is suspect AND the block is gone

So, looks like a new short block for my C6.

Car is supercharged with heads/cam combo. This happened going 15mph

Dont worry, his car had motor work done and the failure could have come from anything. If you are running boost on the stock rotating assembly, you should be ok unless you are running too much boost.

Get a forged 402 and enjoy the new found tq.
