Default opinions needed on future mods

Currently Im running a procharger d1sc on my 05 mn6 w/60# injectors and other than exhaust system everthing else is stock. Im running just a little over 500 rwhp and want to push it up into the 600-650 range.

My plan was to do a cam here soon and Im leaning torward doing a head swap to some lower compression heads so I can change out the pulley and up the boost. The origional shop who did the install is no longer around but the guy who did the tuning still is and he says I also will need to do some fuel system upgrades as well like a boost a pump and bigger intank fuel pump. So I have a few questions for the masses

1) Can anyone tell me about the fuel pump options out there? Is it possible to do an external pump and leave the intank pump alone or is that not an option? And what brands and such are the ones of choice?

2) As far as the heads go Im completely at a loss as to which ones to go with, what would you guys go with?

3) Is there anything Im forgeting here that I should also take into account?

I would like to get all the parts and stuff rounded up before I take it to a local performance shop so if anyone knows which vendors are the best choice for that chime in on that also. I have had very bad luck with shops in the past when I let them do the parts ordering so Im trying to avoid that alltogether this time.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Leave the top end stuff for when you build a bottom end. If you want 600 to 650, put a good set of headers, a boost a pump, meth injection and a smaller pulley. I made 601hp in the heat of summer. MTI (of Houston) tuned mine and has some the the highest hp cars rolling around on stock bottom ends, give them a call 281 870 8787 ask for Dave.

Jack,
9psi pulley, alky system, fuel system upgrade (B.A.P.) ECS blowercam, most important... GOOD Tuner... and you are there easy!!!
See my fuel and alky system build thread for external pump build... hope this helps...

Agree with either scenario above. I opted to not touch the internals of my LS2 and make 600rwhp @ 10psi with headers, cats, alky injection, and a boost a pump. MTI tuned my car as well- Jayson is the best tuner in the biz, IMO
