Default Advice on Nitrous?

Hey guys,
Wanna do Nitrous in the two next weeks, I know the best are TNT and NX right? because they measure on the wheels?

1. Wet or Dry? Why? (I didn't tune the car yet so tuning is not a problem for me)

2. How can I know that I have an empty bottle? do i have to buy a gauge for that?

3. What is "Bottle Heater", is it necessary?

4. Can I do 150 Shot? is it safe? How many times can I spray per week in your opinion?

5. I saw some bad a$$ Nitrous setups with some buttons? What are those?

Sorry, but I'm not a Nitrous expert, hell I didn't see one in person!!
Forgive my ignorance and Thanks!

Alot of the manufacturers now rate the kits at the wheels, including ourselves. I don't think I would consider a kit better than another one based on that though. I would take a look at all of the components included in the kit and compare them based on that.

1) Many different ways to skin a cat...its what's right for you personally that we should focus on. What are you goals for the car? Are you doing any other mods down the road that might affect your decision? What mods do you have now? Send me a PM and we can discuss trying to meet or exceed your goals.

2) You will have to physically weigh the bottle on a scale. The gauge will read pressure.

3) A bottle heater is a heating element that is used to bring the pressure up inside of the bottle. This is important because jetting is based off of a particular nitrous pressure (950 psi for us) and your a/f ratio will be affected by it. There are also a few other accessories that you should consider to get the most performance out of your nitrous kit.

4) It really depends on your other mods.

5) We offer a switchplate for the C6, I am just waiting on Matt to finish up the pictures of them.

Like I said before, please feel free to PM me so we can personally go over your setup and get the right kit for your needs, whether it be ours or someone else's kit. Thanks!

The www.dallasperformance.com dry kit, in combination with a NANO system (which they carry) is the only way to go imho...

Let me double check with Matt tomorrow, but if I remember correctly they will be the same price as the F-Body panels and will feature the same black anodizing and laser engraved text. Thanks.
