Just wondering how much hp guys are getting with a MSD boost a pump before needing to upgrade there fuel system?
I'm running a D1 procharger with meth and just wondering what my limits are?
Heh im running a D1 also on a built motor and a 255 and BAP wasnt enough to supply fuel for 550+. Fuel pressure went from 62 at idle to 20 going into wot past 4800rpm. Now i have the 255, BAP, and a second aeromotive fuel pump. Waiting to pick the car up, hoping to push just over 600 on the A6 .
But i was running just a 255 walboro on the D1 making 6.5/7#s pushing 504/440 to the wheels, and at wot it would stay 60-62#.

Huh, somethings not right if a 255 pump is loosing pressure with a boost a pump...
I and may others are running 600-700rwhp with stock pump, boost-a-pump, and 60lb injectors. My fuel pressure doesn't drop lower than 53-54psi.......

I'm at 650whp with a kenne bell BAP... and that's what we dialed it back to for safe driving.

676rwhp with a BAP, stock pump, 60# injectors and I maintain pressure. The only time I drop is if its REALLY hot outside (100 deg) and the gas in the car gets hot, then I notice the pressure is a bit lower.
Dallas Performance got 853 wheel with Alky Injection, but that is all it had. 775-800, would have been safer on my build. We decided to just go with a race system so we can turn up the boost. Never have enough fuel.

I'm over 750rwhp with just a BAP and 60s. No meth. I'm only at 9psi however.
Are you saying 60lbs injectors? According to my knowledge 65lbs could only give out about 700rwhp, so check the dyno, 750rwhp is impossible, I have heard of guys giving out those #'s on dyno sheet and the car being beat by 550rwhp cars, My advice is go to another dyno shop with same type of dyno and check it out.
so with 65# injectors and a BAP with meth, i should be able to hit my goal of 700-750 rwhp?
then adding a wet shot with a stand alone system to pick up another 100hp-ish
I am sure about 700rwhp an it nose dive for fuel after 7000rpm, but in your case its all about the tuner and the motor you are trying to put that wet kit on. Safetly 700rwhp and bet it is plenty for the street. Good luck.

Incorrect. I've made 971 RWHP on 63 Lbs/hr injectors. You have to run them at 100% DC and drive the FP way up, but they can do it! I've heard of some folks making 50-60 more HP than I did [before I upgraded].
You can DEFINITELY achieve 750 RWHP with your 60 Lbs/hr injectors!
If you're running out of fuel, then check your pumps.
