Hey guys....I am getting all of my mod parts togeather and I found a possible good deal on a cam. What do you think of this one in a stock LS2 with long tubes and a P1SC??

Cam Specs: 228/232 .588/.595 112
Would not be my pick but it will work and you could do much worse!
I'd be glad to help you spec one to meet your goals/build and have a custom cam cut for you. Give us a call if we can help...

Probably not ideal, and cams are not expensive enough to go bargain shopping for IMO. Get a custom grind that will work best for your setup.

with custom cams @ $400-450 and way more efficient with better tq curves, etc. I have my old cam like the one you mention and I went with a different one. you will be way happier....
There are several cams out there that designed for SC'd motors. We have designed several blower cams. Shoot me a pm with your complete setup and I can give you a few ideas.

I agree with everyone else, I wouldn't suggest this cam for forced induction. It can be used, and it would probably make decent power, but with the P-1SC you would have to spin the blower a lot harder to make up for the overlap, which then creates additional heat.
I went with the ECS blower cam and I'm happy, although I would like to know the specs just for piece of mind. When I was looking for a blower cam I looked hard at the Thunder Racing Blower Cam.
