Single Turbo
Why do I always see corvettes with twin turbo packages? Is it possible to set up a c6 with just a single turbo? SCs are not that appealing to me because of the whine and expense.
I got to thinking about this today after seeing a couple of Pontiacs at the track running single turbos and they paid about 1/3 of the cost of a twin turbo set up for a corvette. They were running in the 11s

But whine and expense? 11sec? Give me a break. A centrifugal SC has no whine, costs a little over 6k installed and tuned, and runs 10's if you know what your doing. Try getting a single turbo kit on a 'Vette for that.

I should have searched in the first place but had never heard of a S Turbo for a vette and just thought they didn't exist. The search revealed a wealth of info. Nothing stands between me and 11s other than hard earned money and a ton of driver skill. Thanks again.
