Having a blown Vette isn't all it's cracked up to be just to let you know!

I am spending all my time cruizin' & no time workin'

I'm looking for every excuse to drive it!

My advice: Save up some $$$, and get BLOWN

with stock headers! wow..

I was looking at a dyno chart of a different headunit and the lowend power this car makes is very impressive.. why did you sell me turbos again? can you fit one of those novi's in a TBSS? .. how much more power are you guys making with headers?

really nice power curve.. looks like
3000 - 275rwhp/470ft-lbs
3400 - 340rwhp/510ft-lbs
3800 - 395rwhp/545ft-lbs
4200 - 450rwhp/555ft-lbs
4600 - 500rwhp/566ft-lbs
5000 - 540rwhp/560ft-lbs
5400 - 550rwhp/530ft-lbs
5800 - 550rwhp/500ft-lbs
6000 - 550rwhp/480ft-lbs

worth noting the car hits 550rwhp at 5200rpms and holds it till the end of the pull (6000rpms)...

Sarecco,

Welcome to the ECS club - I had the guys at ECS install the SC600 kit, AR headers and Alky Kit on my C6Z06 back in May '08. I still have the same reaction to date as you are experiencing with your new beast. Never ever gets old!

You got that right John!! I was actually thinking of selling it because I wasn't having enough fun with it. I mean it's a great looking car & it is fun to drive but it was lacking that adrenaline rushhhhhh! And I didn't want to go headers, cam, heads...... For me, the ECS xl1500 was a perfect fit & I should still get about the same gas mileage. It actually idles much better then before too!

We have upgrades for nearly every SC on the market, we can certainly help you obtain higher torque numbers for yours as well.

How much power we make has always basically been up to us, we cap bone stock cars in the 550 rwhp range because that is where we are comfortable letting them go, but if someone said "turn it up" we inform them of the possible ramifications and go for it!

This is one of those situations where the guys that claim that roots style blowers make better low end are blown out of the water really. 470 is near where a Maggie would peak at total, let alone never dropping down below that to red line. It's the best of both worlds, and you are not capped on power from there.

This car has a higher average hp/tq then other centrifugal kits making more total hp, this is what wins races, or keeps the perma grin slightly wider.

Hey Sprayed,
I'm on DPA almost every day. Just passing through though. I live South of the LIE & East of DPA.

Anyone else out there that lives in the area?

Default ECS kits = Great useable torque

As another example of the useable torque generated by the ECS kits, here is my dyno chart. 500 rwtq at 3000 rpm

I am SO tired of hearing about Maggies.
ANYONE who recommends a Maggie on CF again should be ASHAMED of themselves....
and publicly called out for doing so.
