We are still waiting on our engineers. We just recieved our road race version of our twin (it weighs just under 20lbs assembled) and will be testing it next week. The street/strip version of our twin is larger and a bit heavier, this unit is still in production and we are patiently waiting.

Which stage do I need for 580 whp?

 

We just did a 98 C5 Vette with a procharger @ 9lbs, headers, full exhaust, meth, FAST92mm, 90mm custom billet TB , custom billet fuel rails, custom fuel system, 100mm MAF, 60lb injectors all on a stock bottom end LS1, (which by the way is on its last leg) and it put down 658rwhp, 607tq, and he has been through 3 clutches in the last 6 months, and they all have been mentioned on this forum as being the best.

This last time he blew out his stock diff, so its getting the best which is a RPM Stage 3, with a quaife, 3.90 gear, 3 rib case and a tranny-diff brace also.

So we let the performance results speak for themselves, we just put in a MONSTER Level 3 and he is so happy, its not even broken in good yet and he can tell a big difference from the other clutches he has had.

He is just like alot of customers that believe they know whats the best because thats what they were told by someone thats very basis, he brought us 2 of the other 3 clutches that did not hold up, and he did so because we would not sell those brands to him and selling products that will not do what the manufacture claims it will, is not what we do in our business, We have alot of repeat customers not just first time buyers.

Our facility is over 8500sqft, we have a showroom, waiting area, large counter, 2 offices, 2 story stock room and a 10 bay service area with 8 lifts, we are not real big but we do alot for the size of our shop. We specialize in Corvette's but we also do quite a few classics, muscle cars and all hot rods.

Thats why we love the MONSTER CLUTCHES, they do what they say they will, its that simple.

Depending on what else you plan on for your car, if it was mine I would install a Level 3, the Level 4 is more of a short term clutch, it will not last as long as the 3 or 5 due to the buck material, if you are going over 650 then i would just go to the Level 5 for the best results. Does MONSTER offer something to hold 1,100+ RWHP? (1,250 lbs-ft of torque).

 

We are working on a twin setup that will take that abuse and be streetable. I flew out to see our engineers on Monday of this week to discuss our multi-disc program, they assured me we would see a functioning prototype in ~3 weeks or so.

We'll keep everyone posted as we get info and parts, we're not going to rush this to the market and deal with a bunch of headaches, we will work it out so that (like our single disc units) it will be a bolt in and forget it setup.

I've been talking to a lot of guys here locally about the new Monster clutches, and unfortunately no one here has heard of them I would love to work something out to get one for my C6Z

I just finished my Procharger and W/M install, (will be appx. 670RWHP) I would like a streetable setup that's still good for some track duty. I had a Textrailia 0700 in my previous Z06 and it seemed to hold fine. I would like to have something with a lightweight flywheel though for quicker revs. What do you guys have like that?
