07 C6 A6 - Nitrous Dyno

I've been working with Harris Speed Works on a new nitrous setup for my 07 A6. I decided to strap it on the dyno and see what she will do and the results were quite impressive:

The dip is from the tires breaking loose on the dyno. We made two pulls and it spun the tires both times. 900psi bottle pressure (my Nano was empty)

Just a bit of history, the car was running 10.80's on a 100 dry shot. It was putting down right at 500 whp.

I'll be heading to the track tomorrow to see what it runs with the new setup. Once the kit is complete, I'll post up the specs. Big thanks to Steve at Icon Autosports for looking over the tune and making a few adjustments.

What all do you have done to the car in the way of mods? What size shot are you running? Did you buy the HSW timing & fuel controller?

Hey man...mods are Kook 1-7/8, Catted X-pipe, 2800 stall, mild cam (220-226 605-600 114LSA)...stock heads, stock block, NPP exhaust

I'm not running the Interface with this system.

Very nice! What was your 60' on the 10.80 run?

Any issues with the A6 handling the power?

Are you running the HSW plate set-up? How big a shot? It appears to be 125HP shot or so from your numbers.

I toyed with the idea of getting wet/dry right before I bought my A&A kit, but the bottle in the back just plain turned me off.

Mine is dead center in the back. I have it mounted to a piece of 1/4" plywood which makes removal a snap. I put it in for track/dyno days.

Did u get that nitrous setup at icon? How much? Which track do u run at? i see u dont have a rollcage.i go to baytown but can only run 2 times at the most, telling me i need a rollcage..

I got the nitrous setup from Harris Speed Works and installed it myself. The install is pretty straightforward.

Steve at Icon helped me out with the tune on the new setup.

I run out at Sealy. HRP kicked me out already and told me that I will need a cage to run there again.

Yep, thats the one. Good crew out there. I believe TX2K9 is coming up and there will be a Friday/Saturday Test & Tune associated with it. Check out their website for the dates.

Very nice results. Was that a 129rwhp gain on your 100hp jetting? Also, your power will go up once you get your bottle pressure up where it should be. Any updates on your 1/4 runs?

The car went 10.7 @ 131 on the new setup. I was having tranny tune issues the whole night but plan to get that squared away.
