A&A Supercharger vs Vortech Supercharger
What is the difference between the Vortech-based A&A Supercharger kit and the kits sold by Vortech themselves? Looks like A&A may have a better intercooler set up.

From what I understand, A&A uses the Vortech head unit and then pieces it together with the parts that they best feel accompanies the kit (such as the intercooler setup).

Polished Blower - Standard

Our bracket design allows for substantial belt wrap on the supercharger pulley
The top of our intercooler core is positioned right at the bottom of the frame. It is mounted forward so as not to allow air to flow over the top of the intercooler. This gives us a “Ram Air” effect through our intercooler. The area next to our intercooler is also closed in with aluminum panels assuring that any air that is fed around the sides of the intercooler is redirected back into the radiator. We have 5-6 inches of space between the intercooler and the AC condensor / radiator.
We provide a set of NGK TR6 plugs
Vortech does provide a Predator tuner.
We feel that each car should be custom tuned, we do however, provide you a base tune to get the car started, if you need it. (at no charge)
Going by our LS2 system and their's:
Vortech includes 39lb injectors
We include 60lb injectors and a Boost a pump
And price retail wise...
Vortech LS2 system, polished $6695
A&A $5,995 on sale for $5,200!
o ya...
Vortech includes a license plate frame
We include a C5 or C6 T-Shirt

Sadly I'm not ready financially to jump into this one, yet.
But I'm sold. At the end of the season, you guys should be hearing from me. ... especially if you're having another sale.

The primary visible difference is the set up of the Air Filter and Intercooler at the front of the vehicle. Vortech uses a "box" style shroud and the air filter sits right over the intercooler and everything is visible from above. A&A used the same style set up as Procharger with a shroud that covers both the intercooler and most of the air filter. It is a MUCH better looking finished product over the Vortech Direct System IMO.
