I have a 402 in my car and am thinking about putting a nitrous kit on it. I was wondering if a boost-a-pump would be enough to handle the fueling for the car on say a 150 shot? Or will I need a different pump?
I need to just start pm'ing you when I have questions
I have 42 lb ford green top injectors. The car put down 465 whp through the auto w/a stall.
I thought I had read on here before that the z06 pump was an upgrade? Is this true? If so, is it bolt in or is there more to making it work? The transmission and all is out right now, so it would be a good time to upgrade if need be. I plan on going FI when I graduate in December.
I honestly don't know if the non Z06 C6 has the same pump as a C6Z.
Since the rear cradle is all out right now, go ahead and upgrade the fuel system. It's a negligible ($1500) cost and will save you a lot of heartache down the road (since you plan to go FI soon)!
