Hey Guys I'm looking at a vette with the Weekend Worrior Package from Corvette's of Dallas. It consists of APS TT and Exhaust, plus fuel managment and duel cone valve springs. My questions are about reliability, longgevity and will a stock engine tolerate ~8lbs of boost?
Thanks
Kelly
Yes I'm new to this FI world and am proceding cautiously.
8 psi is not an issue, but the tune is... this is a real hard one, lot's of factors to consider, I wish that I knew the car... but it's not one of our "group" down here...
It's actually duel valve springs :o
According to the salesman the springs were'nt installed anyway.
I think the tune issue is what worries me. There's nobody real close that I could have do/check the tune. Plus I'm not exactly up for the Einstien Award!
What does the weekend warrior package and car cost?
Why not build one exactly the way you want it?
I'd be glad to help you with a custom build so you get EXACTLY what you want.
He also didn't mention the year or mileage

You have a group? Do I have to pay Taylor extra to be in said group?
Jason thanks for jumping in on this.
The car is an 07 Pace Car, vert, 6speed manual, 3Lt and Z51 with 572 miles on it. It's at COD.
According to the dealer this system was put on 2 weeks ago and driven ~30 miles. Supposed to be worth $20K! Includes APS TT, APS Exhaust, fuel managment system and tune. I don't know enough about this sort of thing to know if it's a good deal or not. KBB shows retail on the car alone to be ~ $44-45K. COD is asking $44Kfor the car!
I was going to ask you if you do the tuning for COD or if you are familiar with who does.
I dont know anything about COD's work, but I did buy my 2002 C5 from them 4 years ago and had absolutely no problems with it to date. They seem to sell good cars, so I wouldnt have an issues trusting them on what they say.
