Default stock ls3 + nitrous question.

how many people are running a wet kit on an otherwise stock ls3? how much are you spraying? how does the ls3 seem to hold up to say a 100-150 wet shot? anyone actually pop a motor on that little nitrous? how does the stock clutch hold up to it?

thanks in advance.

The motor will take a properly setup 150 shot all day. Traction will be your biggest issue.

i have a h/c ls3 making 515 in motor plus a 150 shot and its just fine......very very fun.....you'll need a good set of tires tho....i did the zo6 rear wide body and added some 335/37/17s hoosiers and they barely spin after doing a burnout.....

hey man good luck
i tried magna charger on LS2 520 RWHP 515 TRQ
after that i sold it back to stock car only headers + x pipe with 150 Nitrous SHot gave me 500 TWHP 500 TRQ all number on Dyno jet

i almost Killed my car by shotting nitrous Dry system TNT

then i swapped my engine With 403 Stroker With F1-C

i think on stock car with Tune you can SHot 150 With a little Risk ,, but i open my engine didnt see any problems happens

but for SAFE and Fun shot 100 Dry Nitrous with tuning and enjoy it ,,,
the problems i did have is Master Cylinder ( clutch pump )
i broke it 5 times ,,, but then i changed my Clutch to c6 Zo6
and i enjoyed it no more CLutch issues
now i am running Ram Twin Disk CLutch ,,,
and Drifting problems ,, i fixed it with changing my Back Wheels to 10.5 inch 18

which is got Tire 305/35/18 Zr Nitto 555 R drag radial ,,,
not extreem 2
Drag radial ,,, they are fine ,,, now my car is 710 RWHP 690 TRQ On Dyno Jet with Load
and i am driving it with Rolling 80 and 90 KM
which is in 2second gear ,,, here are some vidoes for me if you wanna watch

Are you going to regear your car so you can take advantage of a smaller rpm drop on the shifts?

That's a lot of power. Are you sure your slow ex-import driving a** is going to be able to handle it? Might wanna wear some extra depends!

cai + tune should give you nearly 400rwhp on a stock ls3. It should be able to safety handle a 100 shot fine on the stock fuel pump. 500+ rwhp on the bottle is pretty good. Spools faster than a turbo or centr. sc!! The clutch is gonna go sooner or later. Might as well have some fun killing it.

Good numbers!

If you want to go the supercharger route later on you may want to leave in the stock cam. Leaves the block untouched and I think the big NA cams aren't ideal for forced induction.

it will be long enough before i go FI that i dont mind swapping out the cam. i figure cam and bottle will hold me over for a few years..
